Automated Sales Order Entry
By reducing or even eliminating up-front data entry, customer service improves as a result of real-time response to order inquiries, fewer data entry errors and incorrect shipments, and faster delivery of orders. Sales orders received via fax, email, and mail can be automatically captured and loaded into PeopleSoft eliminating the need for data entry. An image of the order is available for viewing from within PeopleSoft.
DeliveryWare and
ReadSoft are integrated with PeopleSoft Order Management to provide automated capture, verification, workflow, and insertion into PeopleSoft's Integration Broker.
Customer orders are received by fax and email (or scanned) and automatically processed by DeliveryWare. The customer order is recognized, order data extracted (including line items), and presented for a user to verify captured order data (if required) with DeliveryWare's Web-based Document Manager prior to updating PeopleSoft Order Management.
